I became a therapist because I am a firm believer in the power of human connection. I understand that the most important thing is the therapeutic relationship. Therefore, I provide a gentle, non-judgmental approach to make clients feel safe and heard. This allows clients to develop trust with another person, which ultimately leads them to grow and to believe and trust in their own inner voice and intuition.
I focus on teaching clients mindfulness, developing their coping skills, increasing their self-esteem, and giving them tools for problem-solving in order to help build up their self-confidence. I employ a collaborative approach in motivating people to utilize the things in their lives that bring them joy to help develop their ability to be present and focused in order to make conscious decisions about their current circumstances, while also being equipped to plan for their future.
